General Alumni Weekend FAQs

  1. How do I register?
Registration for Alumni Weekend events is available here. Registration is required for in-person and virtual events. The deadline to register is Friday, May 24.

  2. Can I make changes or additions to my registration?
Yes. If you would like to make changes to your reservation, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations or call 724-552-1310 no later than May 24.

  3. Can I stay on campus for Alumni Weekend?
On-campus housing is available in DeChantal Hall. DeChantal Hall has air conditioned suites with three or four single bedrooms, a living room and a shared bathroom. Guests must indicate the people with whom they would like to share a suite (a maximum of four people total to a suite); married couples will be housed in their own suite unless they indicate otherwise. Light refreshments, a linen package, and basic toiletries are included with your stay.

Handicapped suites are very limited and not guaranteed due to summer maintenance. Prospective participants with mobility difficulties, visual or hearing impairments, or other health concerns should make preliminary inquiries before registering for on-campus housing.

Check-in is available after 3 p.m. on Friday. The check-out time is 12 p.m. on Sunday. Luggage may be stored in the Alumni Advisory Council Hospitality Suite in Admin.

The deadline to reserve on-campus housing is Friday, May 24. Reservations may be made here

  4. If I do not want to stay on campus for Alumni Weekend, where should I stay?
Suggested off-campus accommodations can be found here. Event Shuttles will run twice daily trips--once in the morning and once in the evening--to select local hotels.

  5. If I am traveling by airplane, how can I get to and from the airport?
We recommend using the transportation options listed on our Hotel Accommodations & Travel page.

  6. Is there a dress code for Alumni Weekend?
Traditionally, the weekend is casual and relaxed, so plan to dress comfortably and for the weather. The average high for June is 78 °F, low 56 °F. Business attire is encouraged for the President’s Dinner on Friday and the Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony on Saturday. We suggest bringing removable layers to accommodate both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned spaces. If you are staying overnight on campus, please know that room temperatures tend to be cold.

  7. What can I do when I am not attending events?
Alumni Weekend offers a variety of activities to keep you busy all weekend! The full schedule is available here. You're also welcome to take a leisurely stroll through campus or visit our community partners in Downtown Greensburg.

Please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 724-552-1310 or alumnirelations@setonhill.edu with any additional questions or concerns.
