Student Recounts Foster System Experiences at CASA of Westmoreland Breakfast

Seton Hill musical theatre student Victorious Collymore-Bey inspired those in attendance at CASA of Westmoreland's Leadership Breakfast by sharing his story of a childhood in the foster care system and how a caseworker changed his life for the better.

Victorious told of how his caseworker, Chris, encouraged him to do better in school and reunited him with his aunt and uncle, who he know calls mom and dad. Victorious also sang the song "Wind Beneath My Wings" to honor all of those who help to make children's lives better.

CASA of Westmoreland, also known as Court Appointed Special Services, is a volunteer-based organization that provides a voice in the courts on behalf of abused and neglected children.
