Join Seton Hill University for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun at the 2026 Trunk-or-Treat! This family-friendly event features trick-or-treating, crafts, hayrides, giveaways, and more. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes and participate in the Best Costume and Best Trunk contests.

Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Sunday, October 25, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. in the Caritas Christi McGowan Parking Lot at Seton Hill University. Trick-or-treat admission is $5 per child, while trunk registration is free and includes a parking spot for the trunk decorating contest and two trick-or-treat admissions.

All registration proceeds benefit the Seton Hill Education Club. Online registration closes Wednesday, October 21, but walk-ins are welcome for trick-or-treating. Advance registration is required for trunks, as parking spaces are limited.

Join Seton Hill alumni for the 2026 Fall Alumni Book Club as we read and discuss Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Led by Dr. Sarah Marsh, Associate Professor of English at Seton Hill University, the virtual book club offers an opportunity to connect with fellow Setonians while exploring one of literature’s most beloved novels.

The Alumni Book Club will meet via Zoom for two discussions on Wednesday, October 21 and Thursday, November 5, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. ET. Registration is free, but space is limited. Participants should plan to attend both sessions.

Join Seton Hill University alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members on Thursday, October 22 for the 2026 Farrell Lecture, "Why Good People Do Bad Things," presented by business ethics expert Paul Fiorelli, JD, MBA, CCEP.

Fiorelli will explore why well-meaning individuals can make poor ethical choices and the steps organizations and individuals can take to prevent misconduct, while examining how values-based leadership can help navigate challenging ethical questions. The Farrell Lecture begins at 7:00 p.m. in Cecilian Hall, with an option to attend virtually via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public.
