About Our Featured Speaker
Angelica Docog is the director of the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg. Angelica was appointed to the position in March 2023.
She is respected by her peers as a museum administrator, educator, and researcher.
In 2019, in recognition for providing innovative initiatives to promote museums as centers for multi-disciplinary and multi-dimensional learning, Angelica was inducted into the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame. And in 2020, Angelica was awarded by her undergraduate college, Seton Hill University, the Distinguished Alumnae Leadership Award.
Angelica is a doctoral student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Texas in San Antonio (UTSA), and she is also working on a certificate in Historic Preservation.
Angelica received an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from UTSA and another M.A. in Museum Studies from the State University of New York in Oneonta. Angelica received her B.A. from Seton Hill University.
