Associate Professor & Director, Sacred Music Program

Edgar Highberger served as Associate Professor of Music, Director of the Sacred Music Program and University Organist from 1979 until his retirement in 2016. He was named "Professor of the Year" in 2005 and received the faculty award of "Excellence in Liberal Arts Teaching" in 2009.

Distinguished Alumna

Joanne Highberger has long been an involved and supportive member of the Seton Hill Community serving as reunion chair for the Class of 1960 and as a part of the Grand Opening Committee for the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center.  In 2010, she earned the Distinguished Alumni Award for her distinguished career as a chemist for Westinghouse Electric and Allegheny Energy.
